VIDEO SPOKESPERSON ADS RESULTS
March 20, 2008, Toronto, ON – A case study conducted by Oddcast gave visitors the chance to experience a new talking salesperson on the McAfee website. 50% of site visitors got to experience the online spokesperson, while the other 50% viewed the page minus the spokesperson.
The results showed that the average close ratio for customers who experienced the online spokesperson ad was 10% higher than those who did not. Compared to past sales data, average daily sales went up by 10% during the period where the video spokesperson ad was deployed.
