Description of opportunity:
We are currently searching for a highly skilled sales representative for our Toronto office.
Position Summary:
This individual will play a key leadership role on the Web Design and Managed Service Sales team. The person selected for this position will be responsible for coordinating winning strategies, plans and resources around web development and managed service sales opportunities.
Essential Job Functions:
- Build and establish direct relationships with companies in need of web development strategies. Must also identify needs and opportunities in addition to communicating value propositions
- Simultaneously balance near-term and longer-term sales opportunities
- Manage and co-ordinate project resources around distinct target clients, opportunities and proposals
- Identify and develop potential partnership opportunities for accounts and opportunities
- Facilitate account/opportunity planning sessions to develop strategies, value propositions to win new business
Competencies and Experience:
As an outside sales person, the candidate must demonstrate strengths in: Leadership, Customer Focus, Organizational Agility, Intellectual Strength, Integrity and Trust, Learning on the Fly, and Driving for Results. Ability to provide innovative solutions and processes to drive the success of the organization is also critical.
- Experience in outside selling of technology, consulting services at an Internet technology oriented organization with a track record of innovation and successful growth.
- The “hard skills” associated with outside service sales must be second nature. Lead generation, prospect development, targeting, prioritization, cold-calling, record keeping, follow up, risk analysis, time management are all foundations of this position.
- Proven success in selling environments, proposal development and contract negotiations
- Possess an ability to understand customer requirements and align company competencies and technology details in an “easy to understand” manner
- An ability to leverage ideas and technologies to establish competitive differentiators
- Financial acumen associated with account profitability plans and pricing strategies; excellent written and verbal communication skills

- A significant part of earnings may be in the form of commissions, which vary depending on performance.
